- the supply to the selector slide-valve is cut off - the port to the clutch slave cylinder is open. - When HP arrives the slide-valve operates as a pressure control valve and de-clutching occurs at a pressure of 50 - 70 bars ( 725 to 1000 psi ). ( This pressure is the result of the calibration of the spring above the slide-valve ).
