Operation : a) Manual clutch control : - The slide-valve in its normal position : fluid under high pressure is supplied to the hydraulic gear selector. - The slide-valve in its withdrawn position : in this position the slide-valve : - cuts off the supply of HP fluid to the clutch and circuit - allows the fluid in the clutch slave cylinder to escape to the reservoir.
