4, Release the locknut on the end of the steering housing using spanner (B) 2186-T and an open-ended spanner (C) or an adjustable spanner, taking care that the jaws do not project over the joint face for the pipe assembly, to avoid making a burr on the joint face which would result in a leak. Disconnect the steering piston-cylinder assembly with end piece. Remove the locknut (3).
