REMOVAL. NOTE: All gaskets and ring seals must be removed, 1. Drain all fluid from the pump, 2. Remove the pulley. a) Hold the pulley in a vice (lead jaws). b) Remove the nut (1) and its c) Remove the pulley and its key. 3. Hold the pump in the vice (copper or jaws), gripping the boss of the front end plate through which the pump fixing screw passes. 4. Free: - the’ closing cup (1), - the pump deflector (2), - the ring seal (3), - the nut (4) and the screws (6) securing the front end plate, - the plate (5) for the pump belt tie-rod. 5. Remove the pump cover using extractor 2282-T.
