This policy explains what information Citroën Registry ("we") collects on citroenregistry.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Citroën Registry is based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Information you give us
- Registry entries: details of your car (such as model, year, VIN, colour, history, location and photographs) and your contact details (name and email address). The car details and photographs you submit are published. Your name and email address are not published. Your VIN is published only if you choose to show it.
- myCitroën: your email address, used to send you sign-in links for managing your entries.
- For Sale listings: the listing details and photographs are published. When a buyer sends an inquiry through a listing, we forward the buyer's message, name and email address to the seller.
- Forum: your username, email address and posts. Your username and posts are public.
- Email: if you write to us, we keep the correspondence.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical information (such as date and time, IP address, and pages requested) in server logs. This information is available to us for security, troubleshooting and site operation. We also use the analytics and advertising services described below.
How we use information
- To publish and maintain the Registry, the Gallery and the Statistics.
- To send the emails you ask for or that relate to your entry or listing, such as confirmations, sign-in links and listing reminders.
- To answer your messages.
- To protect the site against abuse.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To show advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.

- Necessary cookies keep you signed in to myCitroën and the Forum and keep your progress in the Registry form.

How long we keep information
We keep Registry entries, listings and Forum posts while they are published, or until you ask us to remove them. We use server logs for security, troubleshooting and site operation. Server access logs are retained according to our hosting provider’s retention practices.
Your choices and rights
You can update your Registry entries through myCitroën. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email admin@citroenregistry.com. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to our use of your information and to complain to your data protection authority.
Do Not Track
Our site does not respond to Do Not Track browser signals.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
