i/) June 1966. Corrective No.1 d) Free the stop ring (14) from the shaft (2). To do this, use a chisel to make a small groove across the ring, proceed as shown in the illustration. This will enlarge the stop ring and allow its removal, NOTE:- The stop ring must be renewed at each dismantling. Remove the oil retaining washer (1). e) Remove: - the locking screw (13) the nut (11) (spanner 1771-T), the cage (10) as well as the ball housing (9).
