Smear the threads of the pointed screw (1) with sealing compound. Tighten the screw to 4 + 75 (0.6 + 0.1 mig). Smear the face of the locknut, (2), which contacts the crankcase, with sealing compound. Tighten the locknut. Tighten the screw securing the pump lug on No. 3 bearing to 25 + 3.5 (3.5 + 0.5 c) Fit the chain guide. With the guide in place, insert the screws without tightening them (plain washers under the heads).
