Remove: - the securing fork (5) for the camshaft. Withdraw the camshaft from the rear of the engine (timing gear end). Place the engine upside down with the crankcase top face resting on two wooden blocks (about 2" thick). 4, Remove the timing case. 5. Remove the engine sump and oil pump. Remove; - the sump, - the pointed screw (1) holding the oil pump, - the securing screw for the oil pump body on No. 3 main bearing.
