Assemble the gearbox cover. a) b) c) 26. a) b) Change the sealing washers (4) and (7) on the change speed control cross-shaft (5) and wrap the flange (8) with sellotape or adhesive paper, passing the seal over it. Fit the change speed control (5) in the cross-shaft cover (2). Compress the spring (6) with the aid of tool 3171-T with its distance pieces. The sealing rings fit in the grooves (1) and (3) in the cover.
