REPLACEMENT OF AN OIL PUMP. Removal. 10, Remove the engine-gearbox assembly (see Op. DX.100-1). Leave the engine-gearbox assembly suspended from a pulley block. Drain the oil from the engine. y ll. Remove : 8 - the timing case cover (1), = - the bracket (2) securing the exhaust down- = pipes, { iu - the sump (3). . : 12, Remove the oil pump. Ne - loosen the locknut (4) and remove screw (5) g holding the oil pump, - loosen the screw holding the securing clip for the oil pump on No. 3 bearing. - free the pump. c1/
