Make sure that the mark on the drive pulley (1) (yellow mark) is opposite the zero graduation of the scale "S". If necessary, make this mark. 4. The distributor advance should be 22° (crankshaft degrees in relation to TDC) with the engine turning at 1800 I.p.m. 5. Convert this value into distributor degrees : crankshaft advance 22° distributor advance = ——, i.e. distributor advance = a =11°
