OPERATION 131 REMOVING AND REFITTING OF FRONT TORSION BARS REMOVING OF FRONT TORSION BAR (See Drawing 38). Jack up vehicle at a point approximately under the scuttle in order to take all weight off the torsion bar to be removed. Take off wheel. Remove torsion bar fixing screw (47). Screw head is located in bore on the front axle cradle. Remove rear half bracket of under engine (48)
