Lock clamp screws (3) of the brackets and test operation of steering again. If obstruction is noticeable it can only be due to the fixed tube not being concentric. Check again the positioning of the latter. Fit ball-pins (4) of track rods (see Drawing 64, fig.4), dust shield (5), fitted with Belleville washer and rubber cover. Offer up ball pin to tapered bore in track rod.
