Start engine and let it idle (500 8.P.M, approx.) for 15 minutes. While engine is hot, tighten cylinder head nuts to 36.17 foot pounds tension (see Drawing 5), using torsion wrench 2470-T. Adjust tappets to : 0.15 mm. (0.006") clearance inlet 6.20 mm. (0.008"} clearance exhaust To do this, proceed as follows : Run engine until it is hot, remove valve cover and unscrew sparking plugs until there is no compression.
