1439 REPLACING AN EXHAUST HEAT SHIELD OR MANIFOLD Removal, 1. Place the height control in 'low" position, Remove the front right-hand suspension sphere. 2. Remove the air filter, leaving it lying on the cylinder head. 3. Remove the exhaust heat shield. 4. Remove the half-clamps connecting the exhaust downpipe to the manifold. . Remove the securing nuts for the manifold and free the manifold and its gaskets. Assembly.
