- remove the cam (5) and the automatic advance fly-weights (20). 6. Clean all the parts. ASSEMBLY. 7. _Prepare the drive shaft. If the weights show abnormal clearance on their pivots, renew them, Check the condition of the slots in the cam base- plate, and if necessary renew it. Place the weights (20) in position after lightly oiling their pivots.
