REPLACEMENT OF A STEERING. REMOVAL, 1. Remove: the spare wheel, the front left-hand wing. Release the pressure. Remove : the battery and its tray, the securing screws for the battery support. 2. Slacken the adjusting collar of the spring controlling end-float on the steering column. 3. Disconnect the steering column from the steering pinion (1). Disconnect the pipe assembly from the steering pinion housing (2).
