/269 REPLACEMENT OF A STEERING COLUMN BEARING BLOCK. Removal. l. 4, Hold the bonnet open by means of a hook MR. 4158. - Disconnect the cables from the battery. “Remove the steering wheel. (See Op. DX.441-1). Disconnect: - the connection on the speedometer cable (2), - the control rod (7), - the control cable (6), loosening the nut (5). Remove the pin from the spindle (3) and remove the lever (4). NOTE: Take care not to lose the bush for the 5.
