REPLACEMENT OF A HIGH PRESSURE PUMP. REMOVAL. Release the pressure and then tighten the pressure regulator bleed screw. Disconnect : - the inlet hose (1), from the pump, - the outlet pipe union (4), from the pump, - the tie-rod (2). Free the belts (3). Remove the screw (6) securing the pump, and the distance piece (5). Remove the pump. ASSEMBLY. Offer up the pump, inserting between the pump and the gearbox housing, the distance piece (5).
