37. Fit the front cover. Fit the nut (1) on the bevel pinion, tighten to between 144 and 157 (20 - 22 (spanner 3179-T). Lock the nut by knocking over the metal into the groove in the shaft. Fit the front cover with its adjusting shims, the joint smeared with sealing compound joint HD 37). Also put some sealing compound HD 37'' under the heads of the three lower securing screws. Tighten the screws.
