243 REMOVAL. 1. Drain the radiator and cylinder block. Save the water which contains anti-freeze. 2. Disconnect the battery negative lead. 3. Remove the (see Op. DJ.142-1). Disconnect the accelerator control linkage from the flexible bearing on the scuttle. - 4, Remove the oil dipstick and its housing (1). Remove the nuts securing the manifold. Remove the manifold, Disconnect the hose (2) from the manifold. 5. Remove the gaskets. ASSEMBLY.
