OVERHAULING A HYDRAULIC BRAKE UNIT. DISMANTLING, Remove: the piping (1) with its securing clip (2). Remove: the 4 screws (8) securing the two halves of the unit together, From each of these two halves, free: - the piston (3), - the felt ring (4), - the ring seal (5). Remove the distance piece (6) from the (7) using a hammer and a small punch. Free the after dipping them in water.
