ADJUSTMENT OF THE MECHANICAL BRAKE CONTROL. Adjust the clearance between the brake unit fork and the disc. 8. Remove the left-hand front wing and the metal for the suspension mechanism. 9. Loosen the screws (1) and place a spacer 4 mm thick between the brake unit and the disc. 10. Tighten the screws (1) to between 72 and 79 ft lbs (10 - 11 (i,e. 98 - 107.8 maN).
