REPLACEMENT OF AN UPPER PIVOT BALL PIN. Removal. 1. Raise the car on stand (jacking bracket 2505-T). Release the pressure in the suspension circuits (see Op. DX. 00). Remove the wheel on the relevant side. 2. Disconnect the upper arm (extractor 3312-T). 3. Remove the dust cover. With a chisel remove the metal which was turned over into the nut slots for locking purposes. Remove the nut (5) (spanner 3310-T). 4, Free the upper ball cup (4) the ball pin (3) and the spacing washer (2). /w/75 5. Withdraw the lower seating (1) (extractor 3311-T) (A).
