BENCH TESTING A BRAKE ACCUMULATOR. Use the test bench 2290-T as shown in the photograph. 8. Check the seating of the valves. a) Connect the orifice (delivery) of the accumulator to the test bench, using a pipe (1). b) Tighten the bleed screw (a) and operate the pump to build up pressure. The valve must satisfy the following conditions, For a pressure lower than 21 p,s.i. (1.5 bar) there must be no flow through the orifice (b).
