d) Adjust the bevel pinion. Remove the front cover. Remove the nut locking the bearing. Remove the bevel pinion and adjusting washer (1). Measure the thickness of the washer which may for example be 2.81 mm. It is therefore necessary to replace this washer with a washer 2.81 - 0.09 = 2.72 mm thick. These washers are available from 1.65 - 3.13 mm thick, in steps of 0,04 mm.
