14, Remove the reverse gear intermediate pinion. Unscrew the locknut and the shaft securing screw. Remove the shaft and the pinion. 15, Remove the bevel pinion. a) Remove the front bearing by tapping the end of the shaft with a mallet, finishing by hand or using small levers. NOTE : The inner bearing cage is in two parts; do not mix them up. b) Withdraw the bevel pinion towards the rear. c) Withdraw the pinions and the adjusting washer.
