REPLACEMENT OF AN EXHAUST SILENCER. Remove. 9. Place the vehicle on a lift or over a pit. 10. Loosen the clips (5) and (6) and move the flexible exhaust pipe as far as possible to- wards the front. 1l. To remove the exhaust silencer. a) Loosen the nuts (3) of the flange (2) and remove the flange. b) Remove the screws holding the flexible supports (7) to the body. c) Remove the silencer withdrawing it towards the front of the vehicle.
