518.Add.1. Iwl9 REPLACING A CARBURETTOR PEDAL. Removal, 14, Place the vehicle on a lift or over a pit. 15. Loosen the nut (2) on the screw securing the lever (4) on the pedal spindle. Free: - the operating lever (4), - the thrust washer (3) on the pedal spindle, - the anti-rattle felt washer (1) on the pedal spindle. 16, Free the accelerator pedal from the bearing by pushing on the end of the spindle; if necessary, use a small brass drift.
