NOTE : Ona vehicle fitted with a 5-speed gearbox raise the front, L.H. side so that the wheel is off the ground. Engage 5th. gear and turn the front, L.H. wheel in order to turn the engine. WITHDRAW THE TIMING PIN. 3. Adjust the distributor : Connect a test-lamp to the condenser terminal and to earth. Switch the ignition on. Loosen the screw (2) securing the distributor clamp.
